First - let me state how much I loved this cover. Wish it were the variant. And the interior art really was a shining moment. Well, at least at the beginning it was excellent. Wasn't as thrilled by the end. Saw the finishing notes at the beginning - but Nord really had beautiful stuff in this comic. A bit large with a few panels. By the end, I may have been a little bit sick of seeing the giant panels in the comic. The story really was great, though. The passing of the armor to Livewire was certainly something that could have been predicted - while not necessarily her - could certainly have been seen. But the writing surrounding the story - brilliant. Loved how initially the same overconfidence that lead to Aric's defeat is the same overconfidence shown from the Unity team that caused him - armorless - to be able to escape their imprisonment of him. Again, the panels get too large here - too often. And when Harada was near tears over Livewire's lack of control of the armor - that was too hokey. But the discussion between Aric and Gilad - reflecting their personal history - but also referencing the discussion between the two at the museum - loved that. Still don't know why so many people really despised that issue. I loved it. And the scene really played forward, too. Great stuff here.
