I am starting to let the art grow on me. Not that this is my favorite artist, or anything - but it has taken a risky interpretation - and grown it into the title. I am still especially a fan of Aram staying with this team in present day - and fast forwarding in his own title to the year 4000. But I am certain I will talk more about that there. First - THANK-YOU, VEI for getting me out of my completionist compulsion. No longer do I need to pursue the comic with the 1:100 variant when ordered at the ration that I needed to get the sketch variant. Too much - not enough - all done. The story? The teams are plunging into the ocean - and most of it revolved around Livewire's continued growth to communicate with the armor - and her extension of communication with the world around her. One tiny criticism of her connection with the armor - and that's the control over electricity... Or her statement regarding her ability to speak with anything controlled by electricity... Wouldn't that enable her to control every living being with a nervous system? Okay, I am being harsh. The comic set some strict definitions of each character outside of fthe world here, too. Colin still a strong sense of allegiance to Great Britain - when the armor is essentially shut down, and Livewire's sense of the greater good - both at controlling - and the sense of many and the few. I also liked the small team stand-off when the armor was in her control - and her consideration of the past - both in her connections, as well as her familial background - and then forwarding to Harada. At that point, she relinquished control - and although we probably didn't think that was that - it is issue 3, after all... We did have some quick sense of closure, there. Then quickly thereafter - her new sense of the world - as well as Harada - are parallelled - and the team sets new limitations - to end Harada. Great multi-leveled stories through the end of this section of the arc - great pace to lead to the last.
