November 10, 2013 - Taking things into their own hands.
Destroy it.
I love this comic. A nice shift in the priority of the comic - and into his head. The art took a step back - but a few of the self-interest sections - attacking the goat insanity - loved it. Found it amazing that the comic really tried to keep itself going. Of course, it IS goat month - but getting back to the story... Bloodshot realized that it's time to see if he really can destroy himself - which of course, he can't. But seeing him nearly revel in this - and getting back in touch with his real immortality - kind of cool - even if it went into overdrive. I guess that I saw much of the comic as forgetting about how he could have saved himself - by REALLY destroying his own brain - but instead trying to find out. And what is the obsession with the area 51? Scrap that. But the rest is good stuff.

First of all, Sandman gets to get rid of that stupid costume. Nothing from nothing could ever convince me that this costume is anything in the universe other than really, really silly. The story isn't a terrible one. But Hulk really needs to explore a little bit of a softer side in his comic. He lands, and immediately he's fighting Sandman, and what looks like the majority of the US Army. I was listening to REM's End of the World as We Know It - and smiling a little bit. If all General Thunderbolt can really do is fire anti-aircraft weapons and not stop the Hulk, this guy won't make it anywhere near retirement. Bleah. This doesn't look good for a LONG time, either.
