This title has been rapidly becoming my favorite in the Valiant pantheon. From the start of this arc and the clash with the Eternal Warrior, so much of it has been building to a massive clash - and Unity on the horizon certainly, now. I am already wondering if the comic will be a simple interpretation of Unity, or it will have a broader connection. The comic pitted Aric against himself - and his own armies of soldiers. The food was brought back, and as he received updates from his own internal Vine spy, he realized that his soldiers were unappreciative of his own freedom supplied, and took wares from around the area. It created that rift that he thought he could solve quickly by dispensing of the attack by the missile onto the camp. Of course, that was the plan all along, and his own soldiers then were forced to defend themselves against the attack by nearby soldiers, and quickly mowed them down. Excellent attack - and a defense. The subplot of the comic started detailing the attackers - and I loved the reaction of the soldiers when they realized that Aric ripped through the hull of the ship - and were thankful that the Russians didn't have something even bigger. The comic shows a serious amount of planning - and Harada is a great character, too.
