Does anyone else think of the stupid giant Twilight wolves here? Wow. Paul is the big talent that Acclaim brought in at this point? Wow. Pathetisad effort here. At least it's not Nazi women, right? The story isn't that bad. It feels a lot like the really bad fifties aliens from a few issues back, right?
But... the comic keeps going. It has some redeeming qualities. The expressions are big and exaggerated...
Never mind. This garbage is painful.
Deja Vu again.
Still one of my all-time favorite characters - even if the writing is a bit bad. Mimic is one cool dude. It stinks that he was retired from the group so soon, but it was good to have him around for a little while. The new Super-Adaptoid renamed and back into the X-Men is a cool story - and I love the fact that he is absorbing all of the powers together. The end goes over-the-top crazy - but they had to get rid of them, right? While the theme is kooky - it's nice to see a three-issue arc that affects the team, but doesn't change them forever.
