What a train wreck this comic is. I like Turok. The character has an an essence that created a Native American - and even with a pretty forward thinking... Not too Tonto-ish in his creation. Why the creators decided to revolve a story around the villains that are caricatures is beyond me. Tell the story using normal villains. Ugh. At this point, the story should really cancel itself out of existence.
BUT IT CONTINUES TO NEXT MONTH!
Here we go.
Yes, I have a disgusting sentimental attachment to this comic. I LOVE Banshee - and the Mimic. And this one brings the two together! If you have a copy, take a look back at the panel where Mimic is using the Banshee powers to attack the Ogre - with his head shaking. Beauty. The comic works - and the cover is excellent. I wish that the comic had the courage to keep the character around longer - but he seemed to powerful to stay. Heck, even the Banshee really disappeared until the Giant Size one, right? Great bridge - and thanks for keeping the courage to feature the Mimic in the team - even if so briefly.
