What is it with all of the trilogies this month? Harbinger starts yet another one here. A crazy one. It sort of lops over onto the end of Chaos Effect, but into the Harbinger Wars, too. A lot of development into Faith in this issue - both of her back story with her parents, but more importantly of her as a reader. These comics are really starting to take her from minor-ish annoyance to real leader - even if she's just running away from it all. We also see the regulars of the comics moving into the background of the story. A failure is already reached. I like the new direction, even if it's crashing.
Well,
It ain't Shakespeare, that's for certain. But the book has come a long way. It isn't good yet - but it is better. Hank's origin is nearly a waste of space and time. People said, wow. He's different. And SCENE! But the Sentinels are becoming the cornerstone around what will save this comic come around issue 100 or so. I like the art, strangely. It has a distinct flavor. That's inspiring. But the story still has a long way to go. I'm a little bit surprised that it held itself together - AND that the comic retained most of these origins to build around so many years later.
Sorry, Professor
The Harbinger comic is coming around the bend JUST ahead of you.
