So this comic is purposely meant to confuse us, then? Switching back and forth between the old look and the changed Aric - back and forth in time - promising an ending I could NEVER see coming, right? Ugh. If I wanted to rip off a bad eighties television show. Actually, a good one, with a TERRIBLE ending, I could have. Why this asks to go back and forth so many times - that garbage I don't really get. All I know is that this comic has written itself into a corner that it cannot possible hope to ever recover from. And that's why the reboot HAD to come, right?
This is what killed it.
When I keep wandering away
I know that I have lost my will to read these. Hulk and Sub-Mariner are desperately painful reads lately, and this is no exception. Dragorr... who is really a robot... Controlled by the Gnome... who looks like the hobbit. I know I don't normally like to summarize - but isn't that summary a critique in itself? Yuck. The Hulk has a great start. Seeing his heart - and remembering that these notes make any story. The ability to relate to a character make it cross over. Seeing Hulk and the caribou dying. Great section. Less likable was with the High Evolutionary and the hunter. But bringing the Hulk off the Earth is an interesting idea.
