Not a bad way to conclude the whole thing. Not with a vision, but a prediction. And I do like the last panel homage to the beginnings. I honor whomever of you has that thing hanging on the wall. More amazing is whomever has BOTH of them - and not certain if THAT'S anybody, after all. But the comic is an excellent one. Well assembled - and it comes full circle. The ending to me is always the most important piece of the puzzle - and it tends to really wrap up nicely here. If you can get your hands on it - or find a copy - read it. Don't just lock it up in some CGC cage. While the ride into it wasn't always pretty - it concludes satisfactorily. And that's what really matters.
One SERIOUS battle here.
The Sixties were a great time for comics. While I struggle with the fact that the Golden Age was a different era - and I haven't really READ any of that era. I find it hard to believe that it had a stronger center than these characters. This isn't a revolutionary issue - and isn't what I would call spectacular. It just has the sense that it really seems to work together. I also loved the Red Guardian here. A few issues ago, I talked about how important the Sub-Mariner was. Here is a character that has a strong moral center - and is relatively flat - but really can add to the fight - and is a fair opposite to Cap, as well. Cool battle.
