Not a bad issue, but it feels like too bad a crossover onto Secret Weapons. I understand that Valiant was working hard to make the title better. But he's even messing up in the article. Love the return of the Immortal Enemy. It did change him a bit, allowing him to jump bodies, but it's not bad. It brought him back, and that isn't a bad thing. Interesting how he's burning out his bodies quickly, and nice to see that change in the power outage. I also liked the exploring of his failures as a man without the computers. Not my favorite part of the Chaos Effect so far, but I don't like the changing of Bloodshot to fit into these characters, either.
To take a king
Still love the Sub-Mariner. The issue doesn't really highlight much of him at all. He sort of floats around the ocean, and then gets trapped by diamonds. Inside a fish. Still one of the better Silver Age characters. The Hulk story is strange. Don't get me wrong. It is NOWHERE near as bad as it was at the beginning. It has come a LONG way. But this episodic telling for the Hulk doesn't work at all. The Leader is the most classic villain, but a bad one. Just having green skin - and extending your brain versus strength - doesn't make a great villain. It needs something more - and the cover would be a start.
