It;s sad when the best thing I read over a few day stretch was the Valiant Voice comic. This was junky, too. Didn't we look forward to any of the upcoming stories, and remember that this big crossover was a coming soon. A killer clown? Takes over, and rampages against the crummy gangsters that killed the fat bearded lady? The site at the grave was particularly disturbing - seeing the tiny grave and the giant one. Ugh. Again.
Wait a second...
Isn't Man-Thing a bad Seventies thing? Sorry, kids. This is a man of seaweed. Yuppers. A man of seaweed. He's SO awesome that he needs to be included over the whole cover! Forget the pesky Hulk, kids. It was just getting good, anyways. Ugh. The Hulk story - yes, there is one - is still along this much better path. Frankly, I don't know why it isn't highlighted here. Funny - the character if the Hulk - so much more iconic - but the stories usually fail. While Sub-Mariner - much more minor - and great stories. This month, that path is changed.
