I am not certain what I'm supposed to learn from all of this. Am I supposed to hate Neville? Hate Bloodshot? Hate the East? I don't know. Strangely beyond all of this stuff - it isn't too bad of an issue. It's interesting to see the development of the character through the changing of the scenarios - bad guy, not bad guy - really bad guy, but after him for the wrong reason. The story does an excellent job building through all of the suspense. Finding, seeing, and I really liked the mirrors, too. In fact, I'm finding it strange that I didn't have more attraction for this story throughout its run.
Hulk's top billing?
The cover, at least features Hulk over Giant Man, but the innards start with 'High Pockets,' as Jan is fond of calling him. The book isn't a bad start. I can never hear the name Egghead without thinking of the old Flintstones episode where Barney and Fred are watching the fight with Eggbert, whom they keep calling 'Egghead.' An android controlled by him. Sweet. Hulk... Interesting. The book still has the old not quite out of the Silver Age feel - still like the old Hulk - but the book has gradually turned over to that continued next month feel. That, I'm starting to like.
Tough
While I like Bloodshot more, this month I lean to the Hulk. I know. ASTONISHING!
