I don't know how to round out the run of Valiant's Ninjak. Perhaps as a character with much more potential that was never completely explored in the run - or how inconsistencies made the book suffer. It never felt like I was reading a character - more that changing guest stars made or broke the account as it went. And that's too bad. This story felt like the book was really closing over itself. That it was working hard to come to a closing on the book. I guess I can be thankful for that. But the story seems to even re-invent itself - or create a new life for Colin beyond the book - instead of just leaving the door open a crack. I didn't feel connected to the rest of the run here - but I guess that keeps pace with the rest of it, too. Rest, Ninjak. The next time is a train wreck.
