Okay, I've been on serious hate on the entire run of this comic here. And this one isn't what I'd call hate worthy. It has come some way - but still can't really balance the humor from a few characters against the real darkness of Magnus. Maybe that's why the comic is so unlikable - because I don't really want to root for him - and the other side of the can thing is just a little bit too snarky for me. But the comic does have a few moments. I kind of DID like the confrontation at the beginning of the comic between the robots and the lost employee. And I normally don't like the substitute Disney replacements, but this one wasn't as awful as it could have been. I do hope we get somewhere in the cans eating meat thing soon, though. Can ALL these people really disappear?
What a dull mess.
We talk today about hyper-extending storylines... Extending a line well beyond its own mess. This was a boring story. Strange how it could have Galactus, Silver Surfer, the FF, Crystal, and still have almost nothing in it. Sure, Psycho-Man does a great job of pretty much wrecking every part of the story - and in micro-world, nonetheless. The realization of the micro-world - is that it looks pretty much like every other part of the world - only with laser-ish things coming out of everywhere. The attitude of a few characters toward the women is nearly reprehensible, too. Complete waste of a comic.
