But of the issues so far, this one is probably the best one yet. Even with the silly robots and Shepherd being little more than a sarcastic little head, this one was better than most of them. Perhaps because it ignored most of what came before it, or just simplified itself back to be a basic story. It wasn't that the OLD Magnus was so complex. In fact, it was really built around one principle. Explored rather fully, most certainly, and it really was a continuation of what came before it - with one major turn in each line. This one was much simpler. I know that much of the universe was built on the premise of the whole time shift thing - and the change in where the direction of the line was going. But so much of this gets SO confusing. And this one tends to work.
The times have certainly changed.
It's funny to see the drastic difference in the approach of having a baby. Certainly it's not the old Twilight Sleep, but the approach behind child birth in the Sixties was certainly a much different thing. Even Ben and Reed just stay back in the lab, working on yet ANOTHER secret scientific plot to permanently alter Ben back to his old human self - but the most certainly will be the last ever time that his body can change back into his normal self. If he EVER changes back, then it'll be permanent for total reals this time, for certain. But...
The villain? The Wizard? And Ben tries to attack him - but has FORGOTTEN that he's changed back into a man, again? Of course, he still is somehow able to get through the whole thing - and he's the link that makes the difference, right?
