I can't believe - still - how great an idea this is.
Eternal Warrior 6 Larosa Regular Cover
The changeover in the direction of the comic - embracing the future - by leading the Eternal Warrior out into the new time. WHY hadn't anyone thought of this before? Now the connections from WAY back when - all the way to present day can still exist - PLUS Gilad can still be inside of the Unity team - and only Aric needs to be on both sides. But the comic sets up Gilad as a - somewhat older - but still experienced fighter - and a wise one, too. He clearly loves his children - and his granddaughter - and fears for the interactions long term with the mess of the nuclear power. But the moment of the close-up - and paralleling his granddaughter to the man working - brilliant. And although his leadership is sound - his resonance as a dark leader - or one with a dark leader - and the harshness of what he will come to face - seems deeply evident already. Although the comic isn't as good as the last one - its connections - and ability to create a deep resonance with his emotion - beautifully carved and felt. The comic itself felt far more cartoonish. Too much overt reaction of much of the population... But the heart was quickly established. Loved the changes. I will probably be upset if the comic really saved his granddaughter, though. Cynical of me, isn't it? Just don't rewrite the history. Finally - one real compliment for the seriousness - and ability to follow the violence. Well done. And the bottom over was really inside the book!
