What in the world happened to the treatment of these characters? And how are Archer and Armstrong EVERYWHERE this month? Sad again that the best treatment of them is outside of their own book, again. This story has heart, interest, and the gentle grace on Archer and Armstrong that was sadly lacking in the book. And the story? Great. We see the Darque family from afar, and realize how much more Jack can be with the right treatment. Truly interesting. The Nazis were silly . Breaking into the ceremony and running away? But I liked how Aram responded to him at the end, and broke apart the car, then threw it through the window. Classic Aram. Of course, we KNOW who's at the helm, here.
You're just so... PURPLE!
Wow. This villain is really, really pathetic. The purple man. A guy with purple skin who is able to ask for things he wants. And people respond. And do them. To put it in perspective, this issue isn't all that bad. It was... intriguing to see a villain who only kind of skirted around the law. Speaking of law, the comics have been taking up Matt Murdoch as a lawyer - and hitting upon the concept of innocence until proven guilty - and everyone deserves the right to be defended. Of course, it's in the sixties Matlock kind of white and black hats version, but at least it's there.
