This one was one heck of a romp. I had read that this comic pretty much re-told the entirety of the Harbinger Wars 2 comic. It did, but this time from the other side of the story. And it really told quite a bit. I loved Bloodshot's perspective on the story - and the boy taking back and taking over. It's great to see how his internal psyche behaves under the knife of the alternate set of programming. The exploration and the reaction to the buried programming, too - pretty cool. I also liked the reset button that Bloodshot had installed into his tooth - to reset the system. Of course, all of this is built on the back-up survival plan that Bloodshot had built before. BEAUTIFUL. Finally, we head back to Vegas. Loved it. Keep this type of storytelling going. Great to see it.
But it ain't here!
Another successful transition. It feels like Justice has finally crossed over to be a part of the bigger part of the universe. This book has gotten much better. Without question. The writing is even making fun of the David Bowie costume that he is still wearing. My expectation is that the stuff - including that rat tail - ugh - are ready to be completely thrown into the garbage. The writing is excellent. Great going here. I like the new position of Justice - and the parallels of him or the opposition - to the justice system. The police force is to protect and serve - and serve justice next. Cool perspective. And to see outside of the setup of the old system - Justice seeks REAL justice - and attacks - outside. Well thought comic - pushing the older stuff to the side - and really setting a great new pace. Excellent.
