This was a different comic to read. It started out in the whole assembly of Bloodshot past - and I think that following it along was fair - but I still never understood why so many things had to resort to bring in zombies. Even then? Weren't zombies really out then? But then it shifted to the Bloodshot that I could follow - quick, calculated moves - depth of attacks - striking out at necks - and defeating foes. Then, quickly escaping - along with not-so-clever clever panels to keep us in on the joke, too. The new foe introduced - along with his quite animalistic reaction - that could make for a very interesting shifting of the paces in the comic. Like it.
Return of an old foe.
It always seemed to me that the Leader was the only real Hulk constant foe - and not just because of his green skin - but because it really brought brawn against brains - like Superman and Lex Luthor - to a stronger degree. This was actually a decent comic - as far as the Hulks go. Never really a fan of these - but when it showed first - the Betty connection to Bruce - and TRYING to connect with Rick Jones. I know - better if he were actually IN the issue. But even that brought a big part of what we like in comics forward. Keeping the universe tightly connected. And although the Leader really never WINS the battle - we do see his allies - leave the Hulk bound together. This could really set up some interesting stuff.
