In looking at most of the covers, I didn't even realize that Darque was on this. The story? Wow. That is a SHORT subject - mostly because it isn't really even THERE. The art is so bad. And the story is almost as thin. A few less giant Batman TV show sounds, but still as thin. And do we need to see shirts that hug the body even more? Wow. What a mess. And the villain proclivity for executing henchmen makes me wonder how any work actually ever gets done. Of course Darque steals the armor. It's the ONLY thing good about Aric, right. Sigh.
Cool premise to abandon the old Vulture.
Even the front cover doesn't really tell the whole tale. I thought the ORIGINAL Vulture would be wandering around in the comic - but it quickly switches over. And interesting to portray Pete as ill during the comic, too. He's woozy throughout most of the book - and yet still committed to the help. The art is very slick, as well. Seems to have matured a bunch - even over just the last month. I also liked the decrease in dialogue, too. Get rid of the mess in the books - and streamlining the dialogue - especially from last month - which was a total mess. Nice improvement.
