Aric has really taken a sharp turn into vengeance now. What are the twelve steps of loss, again? He has really taken the attack phase of the argument into a sharp turn into the gut of the enemy. He confronts both his own enemy through subconscious - the collective - and then he travels to attack all of the Commando armor, as well. I always loved the commando armor - I don't THINK it was named this time around - but it was pretty cool to see him on attack against them. I wish the story had been told more in an attack on the armor - or he was almost defeated - but the kill shots in this issue were pretty sweet.

I still don't know how or why this title was shut down at the close of the halfway - or midpoint mark. The first issue was a joke - no question. But since, nearly every book has been thoroughly enjoyable. I'm glad to see that the Troubleshooters weren't completely thrown out to the side - and that they were reconciled away. The comic has taken a turn again - sort of midstream in the story again. It didn't need to change - but does - and recovers well. Not certain if I like the old style or new better - but I don't hate the new one. Like the story - even though the cover is bad. Tough to really balance this on the edge of reality without seeming too crazy - and this cover seems to cross that line. Really? A white horse?
