Or maybe introducing the dudes that may become the Armorines sometime? I never entirely liked these forced over-arc storylines. Remember the old days when you could pick up a comic and read through it? It was a story in its whole? And not those fill-in-the blank ones. I am talking about real, honest hard to the ground stories. This ain't that. It is quite good, however. Much better than some of the tripe I have slogged through lately to get to this. It may be that X-O has finally become my favorite - or maybe the fve currently. Hard to say, really. It stays at the front of the edge of the line - and that can be fun. It is strong - and the introduction of the counterpart - all of the old power - but none of the grace. A hard appetite, as well. It reminded me a lot of Aric initially. Then it reminded me of the center of the X-O run when he became CEO of the company. If nothing else, this critique was kind of enjoyable to write. I may even read another.
