It does have the sharp ring of a James Bond villain. I mean, who in their right mind would really incapacitate a victim - torture and hold them up for scrutiny, just to see the plan thwarted, right? Anf really, it doesn't matter in the least. Because for all of the faults of modern comic book reading - it isn't really built upon building a story over some crazed lengthy arc. It's about building a story that I don't want to put down - and I just keep on buying. This one was stupid, crazy fun. Outside of something like Watchmen - or some early Byrne X-Men stuff - comics are for fun. This one delivers. Arrogant stupid villain - that creates his own unmaking. Let's finish next month.
