Let me say that this is another WEIRD coincidence that the homage cover to X-Men 100 is compared to X-Men 50. But other than that, the decency of this comic is gone. It has lost nearly all parts of the hear that was written into the first few issues - and has been wrapped up instead in this desperate attempt to write some homage type of a story. The focal enemy is some mutant child of Bird Brain and Chacka. Equally dumb and ugly, too. This was a fail. It has flattened out every part of life in her parents, as well. TRY to make some semblance of reality stuck into these characters, okay? A major disappointment of a story, here.
Big changes afoot.
The comic feels different again. And it needed to. Of course, it won't get its complete overhaul for years, but this change is an effective one. It decreased the amount of dialogue, and brought back old Magneto - good idea. It connected Polaris and he together - and what a great cover, right? Quite a bit going on in the comic - and much of it is probably beyond the scope of the old mutanthood, but it's not EXPLAINED, so I am okay with flipping past a few details. The Beast origin continues. And while it's relatively expected - perhaps some of the intro of his real differences - and sticking out some - would have helped.
