But the story seems solid again. I didn't like it as much as the HUNTED story, but it is a rather good concept to investigate the cult taking children - and I could really see Turok looking into something like this. The cover is unrelated, and it seems a little overbearing, but I would go back and do this kind of a story again. It has a bit of the Liefeld grittiness that we hated back in the nineties - or perhaps learned to hate afterward, but it's a decent enough story. Not certain if we will fit in this and one more or two - but it is chugging into its ending.
Random villain of the month...
This is the random visitor du jour month and it is terrifyingly skippable. Very little of interest to our intrepid adventurers. They do mention Calvin Rankin briefly, and it seems that the Jean Grey and Cyclops relationship can finally take two steps forward - but the origin and salvation of this replaceable villain - terrible. It even compares him to a bad rip-off of Iron Man - even mentioning him in the description a few times. I wonder if the writers really know if the hero or villain will be so disposable over and over - or if they know a classic is being created.
