I always loved when the comic followed Aric the warrior instead of Aric the armor wearing guy. It happened WAY back when he fought the invasion in hand-to-hand combat for control of the armor, and it happens again here. Strangely enough, or perhaps not at all strangely, this month also follows the Unity lost chapter which traces Aric battling against dinosaurs, as well. Can you explain to me how the armor can reconstruct a missing hand in a few months, but needs millenniums to reconstruct part of a body injury? I like Ken and Aric's interactions in the story - and Ken is a wonderful complex character, but... Does Aric remind anyone else of a chivalrous chauvinistic pig?
Iron Man is great
So much to say about the perspective, the shots, the frames in the Iron Man section of the story. Phenomenal. The story has real consequences - and although we know where the story is going - the look is modern, and the story is quite good - if a little lengthy. Come ON! END this! I don't hate Captain America. Really. But this story. My GOODNESS! This is a wreck of epic proportions. The cover is accurate. The Red Skull buried three separate pieces to eventually reassemble and take over the world? Sad but true. This cover is a sadly accurate depiction of this joke of a story.
Easy call.
Just Iron Man? Shellhead. WITH Cap? X-O. No questions.
