What a cover, right? The armor is finally defeated and destroyed. And X-O is back to being a great comic again. Funny how getting rid of those pathetic characters - BYE - can really change the entire feel of the book. The Spider-Aliens poison the armor, and get rid of it by the end of the comic. It's a well-done issue, and I think the way that Valiant learned to get around the whole no-back-from-the-dead-policy in all of its books. The dead is dead phenomenon didn't include similar beings. I don't know of any identical twins, but I wouldn't put it past this staff to TRY and pull that off.
Back to a villain. Finally.
The Iron Man story is a pretty good one. I don't know why they threw in the whole finding out who Iron Man was story line. It just needed to be erased by the end of the story. But inserting Tony into the OLD suit was classic. Loved it. A Silver Age thing is the power of mind over mettle (or metal, in this case...) The Captain America story is a story told in the style of the Golden Age. As a not-at-all Golden Age expert, I don't know what the difference is - and I'm not certain if it's a re-tread of the books at the time. If Red Skull's origins are being re-told, or re-created. It's not bad, per se, but not that good.
Back to life.
The X-O story is about as good as the Iron Man, but better than Cap.
