Maybe it's why I can't get back into my old stomping Marvel grounds - and why so many good versus evil books are so plain and dull to me. Why Valiant has always seemed so much richer a writing. I love the fact that Malgam has to be saved by the X-O armor - and that nearly everyone is ready to execute him immediately after. I love that the team of individuals keeps changing - and the group has slowly figured out how to fight the armors. But what I love most about this back and forth is that at the end of all of this, I feel like I need to start equally rooting for the villain in all of this. That's what makes a great story.
