Cool comic. The art leaves a little to be desired, but it's a pretty good book. Aric celebrates Christmas with a few board members, and decides to retire. Aric is a pig, to say the least, but he's a cool guy. And suave. And often doesn't think. Quickly, his desires lead him astray in this book. But Ken saves him. Neat to see the arm growing back under the armor - and to see Aric's trust in him. Shows us more of his character and of Ken's core. The best part was Aric returning the bomb back to the helicopter. Sweet.
The Phantom?
Looks like Iron Man is borrowing Captain America's old villains on this cover. Yikes, the Iron Man story was terrible. A part of me never understood grabbing the reins and becoming a super-villain, anyway. The Captain America story is a great one. It re-tells the origin of Captain America - Silver Age style - and brings back the classic Captain America stories. God knows that the last few months filled with silly fighting of random thugs has been dull. This month all of that changes! a CLASSIC issue of Cap.
