The story had an interesting take on the transition. I really found myself following along the story. Even though it introduced a few sideline characters - and followed along with them - and it was fairly predictable - bouncing back and forth between the real and dream scape. It never completely told in the story where the real and imaginary crossed. I hate to say this - but the story had heart. It really connected the tale to the reader - made me feel quite a bit - and ponder. I loved this one. More than I have liked a Magnus tale in a while, again. Even with this sort of extreme diagrams of kookiness. And what in the world was up with the shower scene? Yikes. That crossed one too many 'doctor' lines.
And then, the Mole.
I hate this villain. Hate, like really hate. And Crystal - as much as she isn't Sue anymore - doesn't really add much of anything to this crazy team. But certainly fighting against the Fantastic Four - who are defeated by some blindness stick? Is this what this comic became? This quickly? Frankly, this garbage has become increasingly painful as I have read on lately. Other than it being the original, it bears no growth yet. Of course, I am comparing it to the pile of garbage over there. Really? They defeat Mole Man by ripping off the man's glasses? Why not an upturned rake? This stuff is bad.
