What a mess this title has/had become. And in this book, the writers are using a few timestream hi-jinks to conveniently extricate themselves outside of a few nasty pieces of mess that have occurred. Problem with the Magnus from ten years in the future? Just pardon him now, and he'll never come back to haunt us. Check. And then the Good Shepherd? He's dead, too. But now, we've got this ghost-town sort of half existence world that people can see - and not see all at the same place- and we'll create some mixed up mess to cover up the... My GOODNESS this is loaded with garbage. No wonder this whole line was axed. Good riddance to this. It's trashing everything that came before.
I just remembered.
What a mess the Fantastic Four became. I mean, it was the iconic part of the old Silver Age of comics - and great to see it still around. But man, oh, man. Some of these comics are simply so far-fetched. Dr. Doom hypnotized everyone to think they couldn't use their powers? Writing here has gone back to the simplest of terms - and remained set on its earliest roots. Why does it have to really explain these scenarios? That wrecks so much of the comic. And the giant doom bots - with one thought - that are defeated by water, huh? Wow. And of course, the team is saved by a return of Invisible Woman. Bah.
