The best parts of this comic were when the comic held its own under the moral quandary of life vs the decisions - and that was at the earliest sections of the Magnus comic - and it did some work toward greatness back in the Malev war. But this mess reminds me way too much of the creaky ending of the original Magnus comics - both in the art style and its terrible ability to create much more depth to any of its villains or heroes both. Strange that the comic also seems to embrace the independence of the Albanian state under robots - much like the Latveria under Dr. Doom - but the comic stories are pathetic shells of what they should have been, and a tremendous waste of effort and paper.
Classic Silver Age
And not really in any good way. The story is at its very best - badly dated. And it really COULD be something great. With Latveria being established as a county here with the benevolent dictator... (and I don't care what Chiclo says - this guy is a bad dude)... It simplified the story way too much. And the background of him - with his mask off - and the insane headpiece - quite strange, to say the least. Then the camera moving at every possible chance - I got the feeling that I was watching a James Bond serial film. And not at all in a good way. Even Blofeld had his mug revealed in the films at one time or another. But this one wastes most of its opportunities to jump to a new level. Dull.
