Here's an opportunity for a classic crossover. Old plus new to make something great. And in its defense, it was a much better read than many of the other comics lately in this run. I liked making SOLAR into a god for Magnus, and being humbled before him. But with the SOLAR comics both being SO great so far, and this one more like a bunt... It felt very unsatisfying. I liked the self-judgement, and the descent into the bottle (albeit brief), but it was a decent plot point. To borrow more - it brings back Geoff at the end - good idea - along with other parallel earth Magnus - uncertain to a not good idea so far. At least I am up in the air now, where before it was an epic fail.
Really?
This is a great insanity of really racist disposition and extremely judgmental poor timing. So much of this mess is still crazed problems. Everything has grown from this start, but this just hasn't grown much over that time frame. It has had moments of brilliance, certainly, but this goes back to the other side again. Just the number of times that the comic lines shout out, "TOMAZOOMA!" is an embarrassment. Skip this. Skip it.
