Magnus has been coming quite a bit lately. Perhaps a bit sad that I never picked it up while it was running. Not certain if I ever read it later, either. I finished this set way back in 03 or something, but boxed it up, for the most. The book has been coming along - even over the re-release of these crummy characters. I like the continuing debate - as overrun as it is - the debate between the living and non-living is waged between Tekla and 1A - two freewills who are both on the same side, and continuing debate. At the same side, we see a developing story of the hatred between Magnus and Noel - how to fight the Malevs. Of course, Noel has the opinion that eliminating the robots were a better idea - but if they were gone, the Malevs would have come, still. Interesting issue.
It's a flop.
"Whether it will be a hit or a flop remains to be seen." No worries, kids. It's a big OLD FLOP! In nearly every way. The Red Ghost returns with his stupid monkeys to get the FF to go to the moon and tussle. It really is about that interesting. Painfully bad, this one. Really, really, painfully bad. Ever noticed that the 'Watcher' does one heck of a lot more than just watch? He seems to interfere almost as much as he says he shouldn't interfere. The FF breaks into the Watcher's home - on the moon - and he sends them home again. Oh, Uatu. You cad.
