Big buncha nothin.
Wow. That sucked big-time. Talk about a fill-in issue. Not only was it a fill-in, but it was written and inked be a few separate teams. This cover has little of anything to deal with it, too. The story is just a bunch of kids sitting around some campfire re-telling all of the old Magnus storylines. A few are ones connected to the old Gold Key lines, but most of it is FAST re-telling of the history before the comics. This is a book worthy of skipping, unless you want to read about ten times, "Even though we're just regular people, we can help, too!"

I love this trend that is coming around in comics of the Sixties - the LARGE paneled splash in the internal working of the comic. Nice. I keep imagining some Kirby art hanging in my living room or something. Awesome. I liked the slightly different interpretation of Marvel Girl. Slightly longer hair. Modern-ish? It's nice to see her like this. Now, Professor X? Crazy strange. Probably overboard here. But the series is certainly becoming more cohesive. Better served with guests, and the strange twisting of characters together. The book (and characters) though is becoming strange and in need of some shaking.
