The art is cartoony inside. But the story is pretty darned amazingville. The enemy - this Ishmael character - has a way of twisting the story and the attack. He can turn just about anything into a weapon - with startling ferocity. Jack's turn throughout the story is pretty amazing, too. Love how he is dying and has to remove the stake from his body before nightfall, then ends up at the hospital. Love his attack on his attacker - awaking from his coma at dusk was awesome. This comic really starts to explore all of the complete lack of ability to die within the Shadowman character. Great stuff.
Back to the uh... Lichtenbaddians?
Wow. This one was a cliche of awfulness. It had a bunch of potential to be very good. The art has seen a serious upgrade. The comic has grown. Even the character seems to have come quite a long way, but he seems like a Spider-Man ripoff. But the enemies? An old exchange student? A new country with all robot guards? A new dictator of a country with BAD in the title? Ugh. Really REALLY bad comic.
