This is a great book. Fun, exciting. Great. I am struggling to remember, but I sort of remember a villain who could make weapons out of everyday materials. Bullseye? Someone else? Don't remember - but it's a lot like this guy. Jack is using more Darque power monthly, and he's really able to fight this guy tooth and nail. This is one HELL of a fight - and like any good comic, lops over at one of the most exciting moments into the next month. Nice work, Bob. VERY nice.
Okay, perhaps not.
The title is certainly more sarcastic with this comic. The Stilt Man is a terrible idea for a villain - especially when many of his other powers come from such crazy other things. The shrink-ray? But the story, for all of its initial faults, does have some merit. DD trying to determine the real villain from the heartbeat of both men is particularly interesting. The conclusion - finding one man, then replacing him with the other at the last moment, is particularly well-played. Certainly it isn't some far-reaching concept, but it's not badly done at all.
