I don't think I ever really read this story all the way through, and it starts with a hard, certain bang. I can't even really explain how interesting this starts. It eats like a big steak. This was the company's attempt to really revitalize itself with a Unity-type crossover. It was a great start. It begins with Jack getting imbibed with these God-like powers, and going after Master Darque. It's a pretty good episode. I like the idea of looking through all of these stories again. It really is way too bad that this came on the industry's downslide - it is a great little start to this crossover. Sandria and Darque are both deliciois in this, and Darque's attempt to reanimate corpses to attack Jack is excellent. Jack keeps on coming.
Oh my.
This comic introduces the characters of Bird Man, Ape Man, Frog Man, and Cat Man. Sounds terrible, right? Turns out, it isn't all that bad. The comic is a mystery - which had intrigued me enough to go out and find out what happened at the end of it. Seeing as this is my last Daredevil that I have contact with. The names - all really bad. But the concept - a political party standing up and taking control by sabotaging itself - pretty darned advanced. Turns out that the clues are put down by the art - a very obvious look at a ring. Now, go back and find out WHO it really was...
