Didn't remember the cover or the story at all. But the story. Wow. This one was amazing. Even today, and perhaps even more so, this story rings amazingly true. A beautiful story about hatred and racism. Deeply rooted shock jock that is pretty closely modeled on the old Howard Stern shock jock of years ago. Except for the homosexuality in his character, it seems pretty darned close to reality. Loved the character shooting at the speaker at the end, and the political figure wanting it to happen to increase his own rebirth in the party and politics. THAT is a dark politically motivated satire. That's a great comic.
Vs. the HUMAN RACE
Well, THIS cover is great - except for the newspaper in the corner. A strange issue - not bad, precisely, but... The hook of Matt Murdoch (Murdock?) is his law expertise. It's just funny to me that every person needing legal advice happens to stumble into THIS law office. Now, the fight between the two is excellent. DD keeps battling throughout, trying - and losing consistently - but Namor sees DD as an admirable foe, and even though he loses so often, Sub-Mariner lets him survive. Comparing him as a foe as better than FF, etc. The legal case against the human race, though, is not an excellent part of the story.
Easy choice
Shadowman is one of my favorite issues of the run.
