A pretty interesting story. A man leveraged for what he has gets what he needs - and sacrifices what he wants - all in the name of a relative piece of peace. And most certainly, that would seem to be a logical conclusion. A man with a weakness of his people loses a bit of freedom - to become this asset of the government. The story is relatively quiet - with a few very stunning pieces of large art - and quiet in the panels. It felt relaxing. The comic brought a reality to its pages - and the balance between. Not certain if Aric would really have sacrificed for the government - but most certainly this alliance might not last forever - and will more than likely eventually come back around to the Harbinger foundation in multitudes of ways. Aric's shallow nature and downfall not withstanding, the crossover really held over. Unity probably was my favorite so far of all of the event books so far. And very different than the initial Valiant - as well as my initial conception of what I thought it was going to be. Not bad at all.
