I have to say that I was surprised at how enjoyable - and how easy a read this crazy comic was. The base storyline was a lot of fun - really hit back to the same spirit of the old Quantum & Woody that the new version so rarely has hit upon - at least consistently. The art was a welcome improvement, as well. It felt like the old days. And while the story had the far reaching aspects and almost unbelievable nature - it still bound itself relatively within believably - except for Edison and his talking boil on his back. The humor was spot on here. Especially the darkness of the hero from North Korea who Woody 'accidentally' ended up cooking - and then keeping her around after. I really laughed out loud - and especially at the jokes after. The tagged on stories were fun, too. I'm not certain why some of them didn't have the Christmas theming more strongly through - that could have been the title, too. I also liked the return of the alterna-Woody/Phoenix construct. Neat idea to make him far more beneficial - and bring him into the dimension. Also fun to see nearly everything he helped and wrecked at the same time. Especially with the same flavor of humor in him. Fun guy.
