What a mess. This FEELS like an issue you can just throw away. What could really have been told over four or five panels takes an entire story to sort out. Badly. So, the armor is kind of dead - and Aric chooses to bond - but not bond. And then it sucks off part of his skin and talks to him like a sentient being? At least the end of this is approaching. Mercifully. I don't know why this story kept limping along - maybe a last issue had been announced before - but if someone by chance picked up this issue - I saw zero chance to continue buying the comic. Terrible.
It is a big failure of mine.
I hate to see the word centrifugal used. There is no such thing. I know that centrifuges exist - but look it up, kids. It's called CENTRIPETAL force - and the centrifugal force is an APPARENT or PHONY force. When someone like Tony Stark uses the term - it makes me cringe. I KNOW he's a comic book character - and I KNOW that writers created him - but I can't help but get wrapped up in it. The Crusher is an extremely stereotypical racist view of some Latin American speaker - but quickly degrades into a lunk - who is captured through Tony's UNNAMED WEAPON! The Captain America story reminds me of the old Golden Age - or at least the earliest parts of the Silver one. Chest thumping, American pride, and mass hypnosis through loud speakers - then breaking the hypnosis through radio waves. Not much sense in the stories - broad strokes of story with little backing up.
