This book was a flying piece of total garbage. Repulsive. As much as I didn't like the last book's art, this one looks amateur at best. Bleah. Yuck. One of the only good parts about this issue is the cartoonish rendering of the woman in a bikini. Sad, Sad. The issue is just barely professional, and certainly not well-written. After the last few issues - with such a great cover, and not my favorite interior, but certainly one of the stronger well-known artists in the Valiant section, it's depressing to hit this one.
Back in Black
So, she returns. Initially just this pretty face - and even now - not much more than that - but the kid's got spunk. While the story has the hokey science of the comic, the issue isn't all that bad. All of the Russians have the identical look, but Natasha is quite the looker. She uses the dumb girl attack - fainting in Tony's arms - and Tony - the sucker - DOES fall for it. He quickly realizes that this girl has a lot more in store for him than he realizes. She steals the anti-grav ray, and once I look past the strangeness of it - it fits nicely within the time.
