That only in its demise - the end of this current story era that the story begins to live once again. And it's crazy, isn't it? This is mostly a re-telling of the story so far - with a few extended borrowing from the VH1 Magnus - that the story begins to get good again. That's what the book had lacked. Instead of really giving credence to its forbears - it slapped a name on it - made the character break up robots - and then started again on its own. This Magnus has a strong bit of life in him, again. His level of empathy was what set the old Magnus apart - and when that section was abandoned - the comic became much less of itself. Great idea to bring it back - now KEEP IT HERE.
More good stuff here.
I liked how the comic has been developing the growth around the relationship with the Inhumans - and always love Black Bolt. Perhaps a bit more info or exploration into how he controlled his speech and volume - or the specific look at the creation of his sound may have helped. But the working together - even while the FF stay imprisioned for the most part - could have been a cool development. I missed at the end how Crystal really got approved to head out with her new team, too. Isn't that how most of this started? While I was disappointed that the comic didn't really explore the background of how the conflict started, I was also rather happy that it didn't really drag out the conclusion to this, either.
