It started out abruptly hitting the wall with this issue - turning the comic from its wheels uttering the toughest challenge - of saving a child. It flipped around a bit in the middle - but left such a bitter flavor in my mouth from early on, that I found it a bit difficult to really recover from. It flipped so quicklty through the child - and man's life - that it seemed much too obvious that the crow was leading the man astray. I liked the center section confronting the men from the bar - both the serving of beer - and the spilling of. Then all the way back to outside the tavern and confronting the men again. But the comic ending at his 'suggested' execution? All the stranger. Certainly he's probably the geomancer - but we shall see.
At the end. Well, an end - at least. It tried too hard to wrap up evertything into this one comic. With all that the comic had wrapped up in its existential nature, it had no real hope of ever really coming completely around on itself. It needn't worry. This was terrible. I wish that the comic had the projection to not worry so much. When it worked so hard - it only looked dumber. Over. Please.
