It just keeps unraveling like an onion. The continued development of the relationship between Gilad and his children - added to how much he now really seems to be torn between the two - and their differing obligations - pretty sweet. Of course - fast forwarding the whole thing into the future - that was something I SHOULD have seen. COME ON, dummy! You saw that over twenty years ago in Unity, remember? That could be the new great bridge to the future - the life that WAS Magnus - now Gilad. Plus - it now frees Gilad up to be a part of the new Unity team, too. Now, I am not really certain how or why or whatever Gilad went attacking to destroy the whole life of the earth - but it's good to see the kind of stark changes there. Great book - even if I don't completely buy the ending of it. It still makes a cool change-over.
