I read the last two comics in the run in one sitting. Hey, I am behind and TRYING to catch up, right? And they were both pretty darned good. Not like call people over to read them, but certainly made me disappointed that the last two comics weren't exactly available for a relatively continuing status, right? Strange that this comic WASN'T the last one. It really felt complete after this one. Or could have ended, at least. I would pick it up, if you haven't. I do probably have a copy for sale somewhere around here....
And he's back. Again.
This may be the most tired of all comic cliches - to bring back a dead soul. Again. And then kill him. Again. Especially a character like Bucky, who was so iconic in Cap's origins. This time - not sure if it's better or worse - but Bucky comes back as an amnesia patient - who just happens to take on extreme gymnast capabilities - and then is revived, of course, by Baron Strucker, and ex-Nazi. Excuse me. Current Nazi. Who then takes up the tale. For tired stories, it isn't the worst Captain America story I have ever read. Compared to other Cap stories, it's better. Compared to a decent comic, it's recyclable. Like trash it.
