This one was a swift kick to th face as soon as it started. Talk about an amazing beginning - even though much of the comic had built up to it over the last few issues, right? The death - quickly - of Genius was surprising when it happened. And even though I've read ahead already, and know exactly where this crazed thing is going - the NEAR death at the end was shocking, too. I like this new NOT AT ALL KINDER AND GENTLER Bloodshot. And again, the writing has really been able to flip back and forth between the real and the thought ending that was approaching. Serious credit to the writing here. This may be my favorite comic of the the run, right now. Heck, it's my favorite one of this one for a while. Loved this one. Loved.
This one was a seriously great story
And frankly, not many of the Justice stories have been great. The idea of placing a set of worshipers behind Tensen - and him confronting the group? An amazingly great idea. Glad that this part of the story - even though it was a kind of background to everything happening - was included. I really liked it. The set-up of the family - and especially the child with the teddy bear - that may have been too much. But him confronting the group, and them telling him that they would permanently stop - pretty cool. And then the explosion after? Great way to end it. I am a little upset that the whole forgiveness of him. Instead of just putting him back into the set - why not really have them be fearful of Tensen, instead? That I would believe.
