And that is a downright serious crime. This stuff hurts me. In all of my parts. It's like they've taken the worst sections of the comic - and exacerbated them out. The audience sought here must have never really read a comic book - and that is more than likely true. Turok's main awareness came through video games - not the comic. But this painful ride... Could have been settled in just the first panel of any of these comics. Not by extending it down the entirety of a comic - and then coming to the inevitable conclusion we were nearing all the way up until the last panel or two of the LAST comic. Oh, Fabe. You failed here.
Goliath - the new man.
One of the great Avengers strengths was its willingness to constantly change and modify each of its characters. In fact, initially I thought that something had happened to Hank - again - when I saw the cover. Lo and behold - the issue started with Hawkeye whining because he's just a bow string - and nothing decent compared to everyone else. Thought we were going down the old 'mouse saved the elephant' type of story. But re-inventing Hawkeye - and putting him in these pants was a decent idea. I didn't hate most of the story - it was good. Once I got over the mess of someone trying out a bit of the potion that Hank had JUST said was uber-dangerous. And caused him to go crazy. Hmmm... Wonder where this is leading...
