Still not a couple. I never really understood why this story line got all of the attention it did. Even when I read it, I thought that the comic put away everything it had done for the cheap laugh here. Sure - it wrote it in such a way that it was much easier to follow - and somewhat believably. But all of that for a few cheap jokes initially, I didn't get. I wish that the tone changed radically right from the start of it. Put each other into the new perspective - and even revel in the changes. The bathroom scene was funny - as was the continuing not a couple jokes. But even these are getting tired, now. Get back to tackling the stronger issues in the book. Please.
Spider-man Rogue.
The comic really has been writing an interesting concept. Take Spider-Man and put him into the role of the villain - by forcibly allying him with Kingpin. Great concept - but the execution of this one has seemed SO dated. Spider-Man has taken a tumble - even if it has taken a few interesting turns up, as well. I like the change-over - to a few of the characters, though. Including Gwen more - even if MJ has disappeared here - has made her a more round character. And even without getting there - her death has been made a greater impact. But the art and writing has gotten lazier. So few panels - and the changes have abbreviated much of the story. But the end of this - seeing the end (even if I know where it will go) made a rather cool impact.
